Books with receiptKeep Your Receipt!

We cannot process a return or exchange without it!

Customers must have their original register receipt and books must be in perfect, saleable condition free from any writing, stains, markings or damage. All packaging and shrink-wrap must be intact.

Books for the <%=rs("semester")%> semester will be available starting <%=formatdatetime(rs("store-avail"),1)%>. Only books purchased after that date will be eligible for exchange or return during the current term period. Returns and Exchanges accepted through <%=formatdatetime(rs("return-end"),1)%>. Returns and exchanges may take place at the NEC Bookstore Service for books purchased in that location during their scheduled hours of operation.  Returns and exchanges for books purchased in that location may also take place in Middletown up through the deadline for the current semester.

Non-text merchandise returns and exchanges:

Non-text merchandise may be returned within 5 business days from purchase if the packaging is intact, the item is in saleable condition and the original receipt is presented. 

Novels, electronics, calculators, diskettes, software and stethoscopes are non-returnable.

Defective items should be returned immediately and will be replaced.

Textbook returns and exchanges:

During the 15 week Fall and Spring semesters, the return and exchange period for textbooks runs through the second week of class.  During the 6 week Summer sessions, it is through the first week of class.  Classes of shorter duration are not permitted returns or exchanges once the class has begun.
